Swap CLO at the Best Rate

CLO is the native token of Clovis, the cross-chain liquidity network built by Yei Finance, the team behind the largest lending market on the Sei blockchain. The token generation event took place on 14 October 2025 with a fixed supply of 1 billion, of which 12.91% entered circulation at genesis. CLO is used for governance and for aligning users, liquidity providers and builders across the network.

About CLO

CLO is a token traded on BNB Chain. On 1inch, the swap aggregator compares supported routes across DEX liquidity to help improve a crypto swap involving CLO, while you keep full control of your funds in your own wallet.

CLO ranks #89 by 24-hour trading volume among the tokens tracked on 1inch, with $2.9K traded over the last day. It is a micro-cap asset, with a market capitalization of around $16.6M. BNB Chain is the only network where the 1inch token catalog lists CLO.

What is CLO?

CLO belongs to a lending-first DeFi project. Yei Finance operates a money market on the Sei network alongside a swap venue and a bridge, and in September 2025 it introduced Clovis, a clearing and settlement layer intended to connect liquidity across chains. CLO is that network's token, deployed as a BEP-20 contract on BNB Chain, the address its documentation lists.

The ticker collides with older projects, including the native coin of Callisto Network, which is unrelated. The token described here is the Yei Finance asset at 0x81d3a238b02827f62b9f390f947d36d4a5bf89d2 on BNB Chain.

How CLO works

Yei's core product works like other pooled money markets: suppliers deposit assets to earn interest, borrowers draw against collateral, and liquidations protect solvency, with efficiency and isolation modes for correlated or riskier assets. Clovis extends that base toward cross-chain settlement, so capital sitting on one network can serve demand on another.

The documentation describes CLO as the governance token that aligns the community with the network's long-term growth, and a DAO-controlled treasury holds a fifth of the supply, at 20.5%. Detailed on-chain voting mechanics were not yet published in the token documentation when this entry was reviewed.

CLO supply and tokenomics

Supply is fixed at 1 billion CLO. At the October 2025 token generation event, 129.1 million tokens, or 12.91%, entered circulation, and the remaining 87.09% unlocks on schedules that finish in September 2029. Ecosystem incentives hold 30%, the treasury 20.5%, the team 15% and investors 10%, while marketing, airdrops, advisors, liquidity, exchange reserves and the IDO share the rest.

Team and investor tokens carry a twelve-month lockup followed by two years of gradual unlocking, while the marketing and liquidity allocations were fully liquid at generation. The token listed widely on its first trading day, 14 October 2025.

Who builds CLO

The project ships under the Yei Finance brand, with public documentation, audits and product guides but no detailed public team page. Around its token launch the protocol was reported to be the largest DeFi platform on Sei, with a total value locked of roughly 638 million dollars, close to half of that network's DeFi deposits at the time.

CLO risks and considerations

Most of the supply is still locked: 87.09% vests between late 2025 and September 2029, so unlock events steadily add sellable tokens. The cross-chain design depends on messaging and bridge infrastructure whose failure modes sit outside Yei's control, and Clovis itself only launched in September 2025.

Governance utility is still mostly prospective. Token holders should read the documentation for what CLO currently entitles them to, rather than assume rights by analogy with older DeFi governance tokens.
